Manufacturing equipment for touch panels for smartphones
Touch panel manufacturing equipment completed in response to requests from domestic independent manufacturers.
Introduction to the Manufacturing Line for Touch Panels for Smartphones (Excluding Wet Processes) The manufacturing of touch panels for smartphones involves highly advanced and precise processes. ■ Preparation of the Substrate The glass substrate (typically strengthened glass or chemically strengthened glass) is cleaned to remove surface dirt and oils. ■ Formation of the Conductive Layer A conductive thin film, such as ITO (indium tin oxide), is coated onto the glass substrate using sputtering or vapor deposition methods. This creates a layer capable of sending and receiving electrical signals to detect touch operations. ■ Pattern Formation Using photolithography and etching processes, the necessary patterns are formed on the conductive layer. This arranges the electrodes of the touch sensor. ■ Protective Layer and Coating To enhance durability and sensitivity, a protective film or coating layer is added. This includes anti-reflective coatings and scratch-resistant coatings. ■ Lamination and Assembly The various layers of the touch panel (glass substrate, conductive layer, protective layer, etc.) are laminated together to achieve the final shape. ■ Inspection and Quality Control Electrical sensitivity, response speed, durability, and other factors are rigorously inspected, and defective products are removed.
